End User License Agreement

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sonder (“the App”), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (“Agreement”). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Age Restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. License Grant

Sonder grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

4. User Content and Conduct

You are solely responsible for:

• The content you post in your profile
• Your interactions with other users
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• Ensuring your profile information is accurate and up-to-date

Prohibited conduct includes:

• Providing false information
• Harassing or abusing other users
• Creating multiple accounts
• Using the App for commercial purposes
• Attempting to access other users' accounts
• Hate speech or discrimination
• Explicit or pornographic material
• Solicitation or commercial content

4.1 Reporting and Safety

• Users can report suspicious or harmful behavior through the App
• We will review and take appropriate action on reports within 48 hours
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms

4.2 Identity Verification

• We may implement identity verification features in the future
• When implemented, users may be required to verify their identity to continue using some or all App features
• Verification may include photo verification, ID documents, or other methods
• Users will be notified of any mandatory verification requirements before they take effect
• Failure to complete required verification may result in limited App functionality

4.3 Intellectual Property

By posting content on Sonder, you:

• Retain ownership of your content
• Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating the App
• Represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license
• Understand that other users may view and interact with your content while using the App

5. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to:

• The collection of profile information you provide
• The storage and processing of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• The use of location data solely for matching purposes

5.1 Location Services

• Location data is used exclusively for matching purposes
• We do not sell or share your location data with third parties
• You can control location permissions through your device settings
• Disabling location services may affect app functionality

5.2 Your Data Protection Rights

Under GDPR and UK Data Protection Law, you have the following rights:

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectify inaccurate personal data
• Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
• Right to restrict processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to object to processing
• Rights related to automated decision making

To exercise these rights:

• Use the relevant features in the App where available

• We will respond to all requests within 30 days

5.3 Data Transfers

• Your data is processed in accordance with UK and EU data protection laws

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services to provide certain functionality. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

While the App is currently free, we may introduce paid features in the future. Any such features will be subject to additional terms and conditions.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates this Agreement or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” without any warranties, express or implied.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via the App or email.
